anyone to co-develop this?
-
@ustk exactly. But communication occurs in the plugin.
I place a request for... 8 bars of some bass line i sketched with any virtual bass. Then I get the real bass line recoded from someone in the world.
It a basic idea. Don't know if have any potential. But it's based on something I would use a lot if exists

@hisefilo sounds good indeed ! But this might need private connections between users, or a library available for all?
-
Because a private connection between peers means no cloud necessary (just for momentary sharing I think) while a library that builds up and is always available means a permanent cloud...
-
@ustk I was thinking into a p2p connection yes. Maybe blockchained.... I don't know. Or just a server serving files and assets
-
@ustk https://www.fiverr.com/gigs/bass-player
All of those guys but into a .dll :) -
@hisefilo Yeah, the part "I send an audiofile to a server, the server creates a downloadable link, informs the receiver, the receiver downloads the audiofile" will definitely be the tricky one
-
@hisefilo I don't know if there's an upload API in Juce that can be integrated to Hise
-
@ustk Hise's server api?
-
-
@hisefilo It sounds like a good idea, but wouldn't it be better to do this in a WebAPI or Node rather than HISE?
-
@hisefilo That might be where to begin if we could have it integrated to Hise.
Is it a project intended with commercialisation in mind? -
@ustk yes. Commercial but when userbase grows. Free initially
-
@d-healey but needs to be a plugin not a website. Nor standalone app
-
That would be cool indeed. Personally, I dream of an application that emits streaming plugins. I use audiomovers but it is excessively expensive!
-
@yall May I ask what you are trying to achieve? Live collab?
-
@hisefilo To me that idea sounds like a mix of a live musician online service called musiversal and the new Satellite Sessions plugin (but better).
I like that!
