Sample Rate doesn't stick

It's a beautiful day here in The Hague... The sun is out and almost no wind! ️

And I am sitting inside and keep wondering why my sample rate settings in the preferences won't stick!
If I hit save, go back in... it's empty again. Also if I switch to another menu section while still being in the prefs, on return to audio & midi, it is gone!

Any ideas why that is? Are you noting a similar behaviour?

@UrsBollhalder At first, I noticed the Samplerate combobox is declared twice so I removed one, thinking it was hiding the other. But that didn't do it so I haven't made a pull request even if this second cb shouldn't be in the code...
