@Rikahana do you have the same directory structure?
Did you use the sdk that followed with Hise source code?

@ulrik I'm currently using the 1.0.0 master that's supposed to be for the one downloaded from the site. I tried putting it into tools in the SDK folder like I was told but nothing came up. Like I said, the VST3 folder along with everything in it is intact and in the SDK folder. I just couldn't be bothered to build it with scriptnode because I only have one computer and I use it for everything so yeah...I'm dumb :P

@Rikahana the master is very old, I think you should try the scriptnode version

@ulrik Aight! So I built HISE using Visual Studio 2017 but after successfully exporting, I can't seem to find the .dll file. Is there a specific path?

@yall Mine apparently doesn't generate a Visual Studio folder, the VST folder is just there, right in the Compiled folder yet nothing's in either the shared folder or the folder named VST. ):

@ulrik I don't know but I used the sdk that says it's VST3 but according to a tutorial, it actually only does VST2 so I'm not sure

@Rikahana this is where the vst goes when compiled:

OH! Ok so I was looking in the right place at the wrong time! Turns out, I forgot to disable IPP since I ain't using it and didn't realize that it didn't export because of that lol 😅

Don't worry I got it all under control now.
