Is there a way to make a button play a certain Midi note momentarily?

I want to make an element in a plugin that plays the C5 note momentarily so users can get a preview of what sound they made with the plugin. I made the button design and made it momentary, I just need to figure out how to link it with the C5 key. Any tips on how to do this?
