@ustk Well, I think I remember something about that. You need in fact to associate a hidden stock button to your panel. This button will be used for DAW automation.
I might be wrong, but I reckon Midi Learn in a panel doesn't mean it will be accessible in the DAW. This why you need a hidden button connected to your panel by their respective callbacks.

@Natanr I made this in the Panel Callback, and if enabling MidiLearn, indeed it change the buttons value.
I don't know about the other issues you have where the button doesn't show up in you daw.
You know that the "Midi learn" only show up in the "Plugin Preview"

But it doesn't show up in automation in Logic X Pro

I guess @ustk is right about not showing up in the daw
