Adding a dependency clause to code

Given a channel strip in a DAW:

Plugin 1
HISE

I want to add function to my HISE code that says:

When [parameter 1] of Plugin 1 is active, execute [action 1]

Any ideas on how this might be done?

@TNTHM Yeah, just as you said :) A parameter = a control so just put in your script, when the control is activated do what you want it to do.
