      Hello HISE community,

My name is JAMES 974. I am a musician, singer and composer from Réunion Island, France, with over 30 years of musical experience.

I am looking for an experienced HISE developer who would be interested in collaborating with me on an original virtual instrument called Vilaz Zen Maloya.

      My goal

I want to create a complete, dedicated Windows 64-bit VST3 instrument plugin, compatible with Cubase, featuring its own custom interface and sound engine based on traditional Réunion Island percussion.

I am not looking to create only a sample library for Kontakt or Decent Sampler. My goal is to develop a proper plugin with its own identity and user interface.

      Main features

      • 8 independent percussion pads.
      • Each pad connected to its own sampler.
      • Ability to load and play WAV samples.
      • MIDI keyboard triggering.
      • Independent volume controls for each instrument.
      • A custom graphical interface inspired by Réunion Island culture, featuring the Réunion flag in the background.
      • A compiled, installable and tested Windows VST3 plugin.

      The 8 percussion instruments

      1. Rouler Grave
      2. Rouler Aigu
      3. Sati Main Droite
      4. Sati Main Gauche
      5. Piker Main Droite
      6. Piker Main Gauche
      7. Kélier
      8. An additional percussion instrument to be defined.

      Looking for a development partner

I am a musician rather than a programmer. I can contribute the musical concept, instrument knowledge, artistic direction, samples, testing and promotion.

I am currently looking for a motivated developer who would like to collaborate on this project. I do not have a budget for a conventional paid development contract, so I am particularly interested in a collaboration or partnership, potentially involving an agreed share of future revenue.

I would appreciate advice on the best way to build this instrument with HISE, including the interface, sample management, MIDI mapping and Windows VST3 compilation.

If you have experience with HISE and would be interested in discussing this project, please reply or contact me.

Thank you for your time and help.

      Best regards,

      JAMES 974
