I am still moving away from the Kontakt way of thinking and was wondering what the best/most efficient way of achieving a Release Trigger Counter equivalent in Hise would be?

So if my sustain samples are 20 seconds long is this the correct settings for the RTs, I am interpreting it as RT volume decreases as the curve shows, over the 20 seconds. The AHDSR doesn't matter too much (except initial volume) but then is the velocity modulator as you would expect it too? I thought these settings seemed right but at the moment when I play I get a loud RT if I play a quick note or a very quiet one if I play a long note of any duration (no sense of a gradual change).

You're not limited to a static value if you script a custom solution. The level of detail you want to put in there is entirely up to you - for Dorian Marko Piano we actually used downsampled versions of each sample per note (basically a super smoothed envelope) to figure out the release level as the duration and decay highly varies between notes (lower ones taking longer and higher ones being shorter and decaying faster).

What unit of time is the 0-20 time knob in (20 doesn't feel quite long enough)? It is taking a huge amount of trial and error and was wondering if I could take a more mathematical approach! Release Trigger Counter 21:58-22:27 (I can't get this working exactly how I want it)

You can also adjust the table for more control.

Can this all be done within the hardcoded RT script? I have looked at the documentation and haven't completely got my head around all he controls in that script.
