SNEX Saturation
-
Hello guys. Let's say we have a wave shaper code like below:
(input: a == "overdrive amount" - From 0.1 to 5) z = M_PI * a; s = 1/sin(z) b = 1/a if (x > b) f(x) = 1 else f(x) = sin(z*x)*s
Is it possible to adopt this code to SNEX?

@Fortune SNEX was born for this task

@ustk I've seen the Hise Docs but SNEX is like C style. Any tips for the conversion to SNEX?

@Fortune There's no official doc at the moment, and yes it's a bit in between JS and C++.
There is the snex_shaper node that is made for, well, shapers...
Though for simple shape algorithms, you might want to start with a simple math.expr node
